My name is Femi Ajayi and I established VERITAS Designs and Inspections Inc. in February of 2014. Drawing on my previous work experience with prominent companies such as NORR Architects Engineers Planners, DIALOG, Morrison Hershfield and Ridgeline Engineering, I now provide remote CAD design services on a contract basis to my clients all across Canada.
My design and drafting career spans over 21 years and includes architectural, engineering and mapping drafting. I have created architectural detail drawings for residential buildings ranging from single family homes to high-rise condominiums, commercial/retail buildings ranging from gas bars to shopping centers, and industrial buildings ranging from warehouses to airport hangers. My structural design experience includes wood, steel, masonry and concrete structures and coordinating the structural design drawings for wastewater treatment plants and structural restoration projects. My engineering drafting experience includes plant piping design, alignment sheets, plot plans and intelligent P&IDs. Most recently, I have been involved in creating community plan maps and posters as well as subdivision plans and designs.
I graduated from SAIT in Calgary, Alberta with a Diploma in Architectural Technologies. I hold the designation of Applied Science Technologist (A.Sc.T.) in Saskatchewan as well as the designation of Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) in Alberta. I am also a member of the Saskatchewan Building Officials Association. I was born in Ontario and grew up in Calgary, Alberta. In my spare time, I enjoy drinking smoothies, looking after the animals on my hobby farm, and having fun with my wife and kids.
